We recommend booking in advance for boarding, daycare, grooming, and training to secure your spot. Reservations can be made online, through our mobile app Yourgi, or by calling us at (336) 332-2482. If you don’t receive a confirmation email, your reservation isn’t complete—please call us and we’ll help. Walk-ins for daycare are welcome when space allows.

You can check in for boarding anytime during regular business hours. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before we close.

Full-day daycare: Arrive before 10:00 AM

Half-day daycare: Arrive before 1:00 PM

Please arrive by 10:30 AM for grooming appointments so we can review any preferences or special instructions.

Yes! We have an engaging daycare program led by trained staff who understand dog behavior. Dogs over six months must be spayed or neutered to participate.

Our enrichment-based daycare is tailored to your dog’s preferences. Dogs enjoy solo or small group play (up to five dogs with similar size and play style) led by a dedicated counselor. Each play session lasts 20–30 minutes.

Half day = 1 play session
Full day = 2 play sessions

Dogs over six months must be spayed or neutered for group daycare. Otherwise, they’ll join our Enrichment Program for solo play sessions.

We welcome puppies 12 weeks and older. Puppies must have been in your care for at least 30 days to board. Rabies vaccination is not required until age appropriate.

 It depends on your dog’s temperament. Many older pets do well with our slower-paced enrichment or enjoy relaxing in their own space. Dogs with mobility issues, blindness, or high anxiety should be evaluated beforehand. We may decline services based on advanced age or medical needs.

Dogs must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, and a combo vaccine (such as DHLP, DAPP, DHP). Check with your vet to ensure your dog meets our requirements. Please email vaccine records to greensboro@ruffhousing.com or bring them at check-in.

We’re happy to administer oral or topical medications provided in original containers. We do not give injections. A $5/day fee applies for 5 or more meds/supplements. Please don’t pre-mix meds into food.

It’s highly recommended but not mandatory. If fleas are found, your pet will receive a flea bath and possibly Capstar® treatment. You’ll be responsible for related charges.

No. Boarding dogs always stay in their own private space unless they’re from the same household and approved to share a room.

Yes! Household dogs may board together, unless they exhibit aggression, in which case we’ll separate them for safety.

Yes, and we encourage it to avoid digestive upset.

• Dry food: Pre-portioned in individual Ziplock bags (one per meal) labeled with your pet’s full name.
• Wet food: Bring in the original can/container with your pet’s name on the bottom.

A $3/day fee applies if food isn’t packed according to policy.
If you prefer, we can feed house food (Diamond Naturals Chicken & Rice):

• 3/meal for dry food
• $5/meal for wet food

We do not accept raw diets. For puppies, we strongly recommend bringing your own food, as we do not provide puppy food in-house.

• Bedding: No, we provide clean, comfy bedding and fleece blankets, changed daily.
• Toys: No outside toys allowed. We provide plenty of in-house toys for playtime.

Absolutely! Feel free to call during business hours or message us on Facebook. We’ll also ask for your contact info in case we need to reach you.

Yes! No appointment needed, just stop by during business hours. We’d love to show you around our clean, safe, and welcoming facility.

Dog play can occasionally lead to minor scrapes or fur loss. Our staff is trained to recognize and manage escalating energy levels. More serious injuries are rare but possible.

It depends. We cannot accept dogs needing injections (e.g., diabetics) or those with contagious conditions. Dogs with chronic but stable conditions (e.g., cancer, glaucoma) are usually fine. Please disclose all medical concerns before booking.

• Daycare & boarding: No cancellation fee
• Grooming: $35 fee for cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice

No. However, our facility is secure, monitored by CCTV, and dogs are “tucked in” at night by our team with water, bedding, and calm music. For overnight medical care, we recommend in-house or medical boarding.

Our facility is equipped with CCTV, alarm systems, and secure housing units. Our team performs regular walk-throughs, including nighttime tuck-ins, to ensure your pet is safe and comfortable.

Yes. All dogs must complete a 1st Day Daycare Evaluation before boarding or daycare. Please schedule this well in advance. We do not combine it with grooming on the same day.

This is a behavioral evaluation to see how your dog responds to our environment, other dogs, and staff. It lasts four to five hours, and we’ll send a Puppy Postcard update to help determine if your pup is ready for group play or enrichment.

Playgroups run from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and resume from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with a lunch nap from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
